Jessica Block is a litigation associate in O’Melveny’s Newport Beach office who focuses on financial services litigation, consumer class actions, and other complex civil litigation matters. Jessica also has experience in a range of other matters, including false advertising disputes, cases brought under the False Claims Act, and trademark infringement matters. A skilled researcher and writer, Jessica has researched and drafted memoranda on a variety of litigation issues, prepared motions and briefs, and assisted with both offensive and defensive deposition preparation.
Jessica also dedicates significant time to pro bono work, focusing on domestic violence restraining orders and civil rights matters. She recently represented a pro bono client in a domestic violence dispute, successfully securing a one-year restraining order for her client. Jessica also coaches a local high school mock trial team.
